From its inception Calvary Chapel of Hacienda Heights has always emphsize the need for prayer both corporate and private, it was thru prayer that a powerful movement of God lead our Pastors to seek after the "power of the Holy Spirit" through prayer and fasting. As there devotion to prayer increased the Lord gave Pastor Mark a vision to go up to a "high place" and intercede for our community, this lead to the formation of the ministry we call "Prayer on the Hill" were the church gathers once a month on top of Punta Del Este Drive (a hill overlooking Hacienda Heights and the San Gagriel Valley). Every third saturday we gather and have a time of worship and prayer with a focus on intercession for the community, through this ministry we have seen much fruit which has helped our church to be strengthened in faith and devotion to God's work. (II Chronicles 7:14)
The Church also meets once a week on monday night in the sactuary at 7:00 PM Pastor Mark gives a brief Bible study then we lift up the needs of the Church, pray for the sick and intercede for the lost.
